Speak up! Lift the lid on persecution do what you can to take action against injustice.

North Korea

Life in North Korea is desperate.

Many citizens flee to China but China’s government refuses to give refuge to any North Koreans or allow them safe passage to another country.

Instead, it invests heavily in catching refugees. Those refugees who are caught are forcibly sent back to North Korea where they face imprisonment, torture and sometimes execution.

As North Korea Freedom Week (26 April – 2 May) approaches, use your freedom and speak up against this illegal and inhuman policy.

Send a message to North Korea

You can email persecuted Christians. Letting them know they aren't forgotten is a huge encouragement to them in tough times. Please don't mention Open Doors in emails - and do not criticise a country's religion, government, judicial system or political leaders. It's fine to include your name and country but it's safest not to include your full address.

If you were signed in, you could send a message to North Korea. Not yet registered? Sign up here.
