Write to Asya
Asya ‘Maria’Muhammad
Asya, 15, was sentenced to five years’ juvenile detention after she killed her uncle in July 2006 in self-defence. A year later Iraq’s Kurdish regional high court reduced her sentence to 3.5 years. Her mum and brothers can only afford to visit her once a week, she often feels lonely in prison.
Please send a message or write a card to Asya to let her know she’s not forgotten.

You can email persecuted Christians. Letting them know they aren't forgotten is a huge encouragement to them in tough times. Please don't mention Open Doors in emails - and do not criticise a country's religion, government, judicial system or political leaders. It's fine to include your name and country but it's safest not to include your full address.
