How will you spend your Summer?

The time has come where you can begin to close those revision books, lock away all that reminds you of school or uni and put your feet up for the Summer.
So, I ask you this question..what are you free from this Summer?
Is it School, University, exams and deadlines? The Freedom you have been long awaiting for a some time. So I challenge you this Summer. How are you going to use your Freedom? Is it to just simply put your feet up, watch tv all day? however nice that sounds or are you going to use this Summer to be pro-active, not only in your walk with Christ but in support of our fellow Brothers and Sisters in persecution?
Maybe you’re going to take the time to find out the latest news on our top 5 persecuted countries, or you’ve decided you’re going to dedicate a prayer a day for those suffering for their faith e.g those in North Korea or Bangladesh. Maybe you’ve got a long list of exciting events and Festivals lined up for your summer, such as Soul Survivor, New Wine, Frenzy and Forum 09.
There is a long Summer to be enjoyed so what ever your plans are to use your freedom, lets keep a reminder of those suffering for their faith in places where they have NO freedom.
